MY ONE SUMMER MUST-HAVE

It's a hot Sunday afternoon in May. I've been binge watching my favorite youtubers all day (which, I can write a whole separate post about.. hmu, lmk) so naturally, I'm in the mood to go to Sephora. So I do. I don't have anything specific in mind, I just want something *new* - You'll notice this is a constant in every Sephora trip I take.. 

I go to my usual kiosks but nothing is speaking to me on a deep enough level to take home. Before heading out empty-handed I decide to venture over and take a look at a brand I don't typically buy from; Marc Jacobs. As I walk up to the display my eyes & nose are immediately drawn to the coconut fantasy collection. I've never seen a collection that plays into my aesthetics so well.. the white packaging, the varying shades of rose with the lightest scent of coconut to top it off. 

A very specific piece of the collection jumps out at me immediately - the O!Mega bronzer in "Tan-tastic!". I remembered this bronzer being raved about endlessly on Youtube last summer and kicking myself because I'd missed it. Lucky for me though, it made a comeback this summer and was now coming home with me. 

I would tell you I put it on as soon as I got home but that's a lie. Truthfully, I actually waited a few days to try this. Up until this point I had been very loyal to one specific bronzer and I felt nothing could live up to it so even though I had purchased a new one, I was a little apprehensive to use it. Once I worked up the courage to change up my normal routine, I immediately fell in love with this bronzer. It gives my skin the most natural, sun-kissed appearance.. it truly is undetectable. Unlike a lot of bronzers on the market, instead of giving a muddy or orange appearance to the skin, this one blends seamlessly with my olive tones and acts only as an enhancement. On "natural" make up days I've actually been opting out of wearing any foundation and solely using this bronzer to give the perfect "I just walked off the beach" look. I couldn't have asked for a better product to spice up my day-to-day look.

So thank you, 2018. This is the second beauty blessing you've sent my way this year and wow.
