FIRE IN HER VEINS

Wow, this has been a long time coming. For *years* I've been saying I was going to start blogging. There's been many reasons why I haven't, the biggest one however being myself getting into my own way. I'm done with the excuses and putting my all into this.

So, welcome. I'm excited for you to join me on this journey.

My first look is this fiery look. Thanks, midwest falls for the color inspo. Let's take a deeper dive into this look below.








For those who don't know, the much sought after Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette is now being carried at Ulta! (And other Morphe products, but that's not what this post is about. Sorry.) Anyway, so when I heard the news I jumped at the chance to finally get my hands on it. I cashed in some Ulta points and copped this baby for an easy $6. Ayyyy.

I started this look by dipping my NYX Pro Blending Brush into "Hunts" and buffing the color into my crease, blown out to just under my brow bone. Next, I used my Sigma E36 and placed "Jacz" slightly above my crease only on the inner portion of my eye, about one third in. Grabbed my Pro Blending Brush again w/ a teeny bit more of "Hunts" to blend the two shades together. 

Next, with my Morphe M574 I deepened my outer "v" (aka outer corner of my eye, but in a "v" shape) using "Chip". I added some sass to my lid with Makeup Geek's "Casino" eyeshadow, applied with my finger. I almost exclusively apply shimmer shade with my finger. They're so much more impactful that way. With my Sigma E25 I blended "Chip" and "Casino" together. However, that was not nearly enough for this look so I dipped my finger into "Cranapple" and placed it in-between the blend of "Chip" & "Casino". To blend everything seamlessly I used a clean Sigma E35.

Technically I smoked out my lower lash line w/ "Chip" but that was out of the sheer laziness of not wanting to put on concealer today. *Kanye shrug*

To be extra AF I used NYX's "lip of the day" liquid liner in "gem" on my crease. TBH that's what made this a LOOK for me. I finished the look off with KISS faux mink lashes in "Midnight". This line of lashes is severely underrated, by the way. We'll get into that on another day.
